SUMMARY: Guidance Software Inc. is the developer and provider of the
market-leading EnCase® family of digital investigative software
products. The Marketing Programs Manager for EnCase Forensic and
Emerging Markets is responsible for developing, tracking and managing
the execution of the marketing strategy for the Emerging Markets which
includes Law Enforcement, State and Local Government, consultants and
others. The marketing programs manager will work with the Product
Management & Marketing organization to take the multiple product plans
and help create a cohesive and targeted tactical marketing plan in order
to achieve market awareness, pipeline development and sales readiness.
This role will leverage all forms of marketing vehicles to promote our
solutions to include PR, events, seminars, eMarketing, direct marketing,

• PR – work with local and/or corporate PR resources to develop a media
plan to support federal specific PR, event support, briefings, etc.
• Sales Tools – track product management development, publish the
timeline for availability, follow-up with creative services, and

• Work with the Emerging markets sales team to budget for, plan, execute
and track the results of all industry trade-shows, seminars, and other
“onsite” events

• Conduct market analysis and detailed competitive analysis, for the
EnCase Forensic Market, to include SWOT analysis, marketing sizing &
revenue potential, and competitive briefing/de-positioning sheets
• Work with the corporate marketing “events” team to ensure that all
events are properly executed, leads are managed and tracked, and budget
constraints are adhered to.
• Develop and execute a variety of promotional activities to build
market-awareness and develop pipeline for the EnCase Forensic and Latin
America business including software, professional services, and training.
• Facilitate “joint-marketing” partner engagements and opportunities
• Support the Analyst Relations team in the regular updating of industry
analysts such as Forrester, Gartner and IDC regarding the EnCase
Forensic and Latin American markets.
• Coordinate the follow-up of all EnCase Forensic and Latin America
lead-generation activities – work with corporate marketing to develop
lead reports and metrics for senior management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3+ years of Marketing experience in the enterprise B2B software
• Excellent written, public presentation and communication skills
• Project management skills and/or training
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word and other
marketing technology tools (i.e. Adobe etc.)
